He has visited our school a few times before. He has published over 46 books, 16 of which he wrote and illustrated himself. The staff and students truly enjoyed his presentation and they loved hearing him share the stories we read in library before his visit. Lewin has illustrated a wide variety of books. They shared a few excerpts and pictures from their book with us! Student enjoyed the drawing tutorial from Betsy of some of favorite illustrations. Local Bucks County illustrator, former art teacher and Buckingham Elementary parent alum, Kim Kost, visited with Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade classes on October 27 th and November 3rd , ! Kost read the story of The Windowsill Fairy. Featured in the story is a glimpse of the Buckingham Mighty Knight! The story includes discussing good eating habits and tips to keep your teeth healthy!

His book, Escape from Mr. Libris is sure to be a big hit.

Peter Catalanotto Buckingham Elementary was happy to have Mr. Ted and Betsy Lewin. Kim Kost. Chris Grabenstein. Sherrill Cannon. On Wednesday, November 12th, , local author, Sherrill Cannon, visited our school.

Jeff talked about the new book as well as his success as a writer. He showed us pictures of where he writes and draws, the cool technology he uses when sketching, and let us in on his writing process. He starts in January and works extremely hard until about September when he puts the finishing touches on his next story.

Our students enjoyed getting to ask him questions along with the other Warwick students, as well as the 4 th graders from Barclay Elementary. One of our 4 th graders suggested they should be the next character in Mr. We had a fabulous time getting to meet him and learn more about how he finds such success being a writer.

Our School

Kimmel came to visit Buckingham on Friday, May 2nd. It was great to hear him read it aloud to us in person! PM Kindergarteners were able to hear him tell three different tales in their own classroom.

2015 Scholastic Spring Book Fair Preview: Elementary

It was inspiring to find out that he wanted to be an author ever since hearing a Dr. Seuss story in Kindergarten. His message reminded us that we can reach our goals and aspirations that we set even at such a young age!

Adam Lehrhaupt came to visit on Friday, February 28th. It was his first visit as an author to a school! He said he had a great time and we were a wonderful audience.

His next book is coming out in the fall, and we will be sure to get a signed copy for our library! Glasser's inspiration and her journey as an illustrator. Dressing up in fancy clothes was also a treat. Check out some pictures from her visit! Kay Winters visited on Friday, April 19th, ! She was very funny and signed a lot of our library books. He shared his love for drawing and writing.


We especially enjoyed his guitar playing and singing. He also illustrated a picture for us to frame and keep in our library!
