Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number. Any tech guys in the forum or at Microsoft who use a similar setup who can help?
One post I saw suggested writing a registry entry, but I don't want to dable in that with a new operating system. My simplest solution might be to revert to a windows logon that matchs my NAS drive login, but any suggestions are welcome.
